When did Foot Soothers begin?

Foot Soothers began in 1997.  Foot Soothers are innovative health  providers.  Our Specialized Routine Foot Care Services are a collaboration between clinical care and spa-style pampering.  Services provided are strictly classified as routine and therefore not invasive.  Foot Soothers services are administered by skilled Foot Care Technicians (FCTs).  They are Maryland State Board certified Geriatric Nursing Assistants that  are under  advanced nursing supervision. The President of the company, Ulyssia E. J. Williams has over 20 years of experience in senior care and previously owned a Senior Assisted Living facility.  It was at this time that the need for specialized routine foot care for seniors is recognized.  Our specialized Routine Foot Care Services accommodate anyone but are particularly appreciated by seniors.  Services rendered to clients who have health compromises that are considered systemic can be reimbursed by insurance.  Private pay clients are equally welcome.  Foot Soothers operates in association with Sellers Family Health Care.  This medical practice is headed by Dr. Irance-Reddix-Sellers, MD FAAFP and several associate Nurse Practitioners.   Services are  also  provided to Assisted Living, Independent Living and Adult Day Care facilities at their locations.    The organization carries all appropriate licenses and insurances and carefully screens and trains all associates.

3. Foot Soothers will reduce the staff workload by performing time consuming and difficult to administer routine foot care.  We can also administer doctor ordered routine follow-up care.

Who are Foot Soothers clients and what do they say?

Foot Soothers clients are active and ambulatory but may have some health challenges as well as challenges with mobility and/or flexibility.  In a  community setting or an assisted living setting our clients are often seeking non-medical wellness options to maintain foot comfort and their ease of mobility as the aging cycle progresses.  Because of these challenges, they choose to leave their Routine Foot Care to the Routine Foot Care Professionals...
