When
did Foot Soothers
begin?
Foot Soothers began in
1997. Foot Soothers services are administered by skilled
Foot Care Technicians (FCTs) They are Maryland State Board
Geriatric Nursing Assistants that also have advanced nursing
supervision. They maintain a high level of skill to
administer their Foot Soothing techniques by completing
regular training and evaluations.
The President of the company, Ulyssia E. J. Williams has
over 20 years of experience in senior care and previously
owned a Senior Assisted Living facility. It was at
this time that the need for specialized routine foot care
for seniors is recognized.
The organization carries all appropriate licenses and
insurances. We also carefully screen and train all Foot
Care Technicians in preparation for work with seniors.
Currently, Foot Soothers is serving the corporate
community. We operate at large senior assisted
living facilities.
How
can Foot Soothers benefit my senior facility?
Foot Soothers will benefit your senior facility in
several important ways:
1. Our service is a dynamic and practical
highlight to feature when touring prospective new
residents. Foot Soothers is a value added health and
wellness benefit complementing the other health care and
comfort services available to your residents.
2. Foot Soothers will provide on-site routine
foot comfort services to your residents; services that
are not otherwise provided.
3. Foot Soothers will reduce the staff workload
by performing time consuming and difficult to administer
routine foot care. We can also administer doctor ordered
routine follow-up care.
4. Most importantly, Foot Soothers will create
happy and appreciative residents. Foot Soothers clients
will tell you that they feel invigorated.
Who are Foot Soothers clients and what do they say?
Foot Soothers clients are
active and ambulatory but may have some health
challenges as well as challenges with mobility and/or
flexibility. In a community setting or an assisted
living setting our clients are often seeking non-medical
wellness options to maintain foot comfort and their ease of
mobility as the aging cycle progresses. Because of these
challenges, they choose to leave their Routine Foot Care to
the Routine Foot Care Professionals...The Foot Soothers.
